UPDATE 12-Year-Old Woodstock Girl Reported Missing for a 2nd time in Recent Months Found Safe

The NYPD confirmed on Thursday, Nov. 18, that a 12-year-old girl from Woodstock who was reported missing in November for the second time in a few months has been found safe.

It was reported to police that, prior to being found, Krystal Crespo, 12, of East 152nd Street had last been seen on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at approximately 5.35 p.m. at her home. She was described as female, Hispanic, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing 115 pounds, with a thin build, brown eyes, and black shoulder-length hair. She had last been seen wearing a black tank top, blue jeans and black/red sneakers.

Norwood News was contacted on Nov. 18 by a person who said Krystal’s grandfather had confirmed on social media that she had been found. We checked with police the same day and they confirmed this was the case.

As reported, Krystal was also reported missing in September 2021. Norwood News was later informed by the NYPD that she had been found, before she was reported missing once again in November (and subsequently found for a second time).

Krystal’s latest disappearance had been highlighted on a social media account called “Mary Murphy Mystery.”
