Woodlawn: Search for Two Men following Store Robbery at Gun & Knifepoint

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the two, unidentified men seen in the attached photos and video who are sought for questioning in connection with a robbery that occurred in the 47th precinct.

 

It was reported to police that on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 9.18 p.m., the two men entered McClean Deli & Groceries, located at 522 East 240th Street in Woodlawn Heights. The man identified by police as Male 1 produced a small rifle, and the man identified by police as Male 2 produced a knife.

 

They both demanded cash from a 40-year-old male worker, a 61-year-old male patron, and a 41-year-old male patron. The suspects later fled on foot with $3,000 in cash and seven packs of Newport cigarettes, valued at $108 from the store. They also relieved the 61-year-old male victim of $10 and the 41-year-old male victim of $880. No shots were fired and there were no injuries.
