THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s help identifying the individual seen in the attached video and photo who they say is wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred in Woodlawn Heights on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the individual seen in the attached video and photo who they say is wanted in connection to a robbery and assault that occurred in Woodlawn Heights.
Police said that on Saturday, June 22, at around 2.30 a.m., an unidentified person approached an 18-year-old female victim from behind near the corner of Webster Avenue and East 233rd Street and knocked her to the ground. “The individual removed the victim’s purse, which contained a cell phone, around $50 and other personal effects,” a police spokesperson said. “The individual then fled to parts unknown. The victim sustained minor injuries.”
Police said the suspect is described as male, he has a medium complexion, is around 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and weighs around 180 pounds.
