The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached video and photos who department officials say are sought in connection with an assault (a shooting) that occurred in Williamsbridge last month.
Police said that on Thursday, March 23, at around 10.15 p.m., the victim, a 25-year-old male, was in front of 3600 Bronxwood Avenue when an unidentified male got out of a gray Nissan Sentra and approached the victim. The suspect displayed a gun and fired numerous rounds at the victim, striking him in the leg, police said.
“The victim then ran into a store where the individual continued to discharge his firearm into the location, striking a 42-year-old male employee in the leg,” a police spokesperson said. “The individuals fled the location in the Nissan to the vicinity of Blackrock Avenue and Pugsley Avenue where they abandoned the vehicle,” the spokesperson added.
They then ran on foot to Pugsley Avenue where a black sedan picked them up and fled southbound on Pugsley Avenue, police said, adding that the victims were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
The suspects are described as male, and are believed to be between 25 and 30 years of age.
