Williamsbridge: Two Sought following Shooting at Party

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the individuals seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning in connection with an assault that occurred in Williamsbridge, located in the 47th precinct.

 

It was reported to police that on Sunday, Oct. 17, at approximately 00.57 a.m., during a party held at 1418 Oakley Street, an unidentified man got into a verbal dispute with another 58-year-old male victim. The assailant followed the victim to the rear of the location, where he displayed a handgun and fired multiple shots at him.

 

The shooter was in the company of an unidentified woman. Both individuals fled the location after the incident, and the victim sustained gunshot wounds to both his legs and his buttocks, and was transported via EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Jacobi in stable condition.

 

The shooter is described as a man in his 20s, of a slim build with a dark complexion and was last seen wearing a black hat, a camouflage jacket, black pants and brown boots. He was in possession of a firearm.

 

The woman is described as being in her 20s, with black hair and a dark complexion, of a medium build and was last seen wearing eye glasses, a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black sneakers. Surveillance video showing both individuals, prior to the shooting, was obtained from the incident location and is attached.
