Williamsbridge: Three People Shot, One Fatally

The New York Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying the individuals seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning, following a shooting which injured three, one fatally, in Williamsbridge.

 

On Sunday, Oct. 31, at approximately 00.50 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who was shot at Colden Avenue and Adee Avenue, in Williamsbridge, located in the 49th precinct.

 

Upon arrival in front of 951 Adee Aevneue, police observed three victims with gunshot wounds. The first victim was a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. The second was an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his left leg and the third victim was a 69-year-old woman with a graze wound to her right leg.

 

 

EMS also responded and transported both the first and second victims to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, where the 22-year-old was pronounced deceased on Monday, Nov. 1, and the 18-year-old was listed in stable condition. The 69-year-old woman was treated by EMS at the scene and refused further medical attention.

 

There were no immediate arrests and the investigation remained ongoing.

 

The deceased was identified as a 22-year-old man, Hednick Wynaar, of Hennessey Place in University Heights in the Bronx.

 

On Nov. 7, the NYPD asked for the public’s help identifying the individuals seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning in connection to the incident. They also released a photo of a car which they believe may help identify those sought in connection to the shooting.
