The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the person and vehicle seen in the attached photos, adding that the person is sought in connection with an assault that occurred last week in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx in which three people were shot.
Police said that on Monday, June 17, at around 6 p.m. in the vicinity of 221st Street and Bronxwood Avenue, an unidentified male fired multiple times into a crowd, “causing a grave risk of death and serious physical injury to multiple people including children gathered at a barbecue at the location.”
They said a 27-year-old man was shot in the right hand, a 21-year-old man was shot in the back and left armpit, and a 33-year-old man was shot twice in the right leg.
They said the 33-year-old was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in Morris Park by private means, and is in stable condition.
They said the 27-year-old and the 21-year-old were both transported by EMS also to Jacobi in stable condition, and added that an unidentified male fled the location in a dark-colored SUV, of photo of which is attached.
