Williamsbridge: NYPD Release Video of Group Sought in White Plains Road Shooting of Two

The NYPD has released photos and video of a group of people who department officials say are sought in connection with a shooting that occurred in Williamsbridge on Thursday afternoon, as previously reported, and is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating them.

 

Police said that on Thursday, May 11, at around 1.30 p.m., in front of 3762 White Plains Road, four unidentified people, acting in concert, fired multiple shots, striking a 21-year-old man in the thigh, as well as an unidentified second victim, whose description was not provided. “The first victim was transported by private means to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition,” a police spokesperson said. “The four individuals fled the location on foot running westbound on East 219 Street.”

Police said all four individuals are described as male, and are estimated to be in their late teens to early 20s. They added that the attached video and photos were obtained from the vicinity of the incident location.

 

As reported, Norwood News spoke to some residents and workers in the area after the shooting occurred.
