Williamsbridge: Man Sought for Stealing Car

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached media who they say is wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Saturday, June 22, at around 4 a.m., an unknown person approached a 67-year-old car occupant in front of 800 Burke Avenue, opened the driver’s side door of the victim’s car and demanded both money and the car keys. They said the suspect then “physically removed” the victim from the car and fled in it, eastbound on Burke Avenue to parts unknown. They said the victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.

They said the suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion, a slim build, and is around 6 feet tall. They said he was last seen wearing a pink, flannel-style shirt with buttons, a white tank top shirt, blue jean shorts, a red and black baseball cap, and green croc-style shoes.
