The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals seen in the attached video and photos who are sought for questioning in connection to an assault pattern that occurred in the 47 Precinct/Transit District 12.
The first incident occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at approximately 10.50 p.m., when the individuals approached the 73-year-old male employee of a fruit stand, located in front of 3764 White Plains Road in Williamsbridge, close to the border with Olinville, and while recording using a cellphone, shot the victim in the face with a BB gun before fleeing the location. The victim sustained a laceration to the face and was removed by EMS to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
A BB gun is a type of air gun designed to shoot metallic spherical projectiles called BBs.
The second incident occurred on Monday, Nov. 8, at approximately 9 p.m., when the individuals approached a 37-year-old male MTA train conductor on the southbound “2” train platform of East 219th Street subway station, also in Williamsbridge. The individuals proceeded to shoot the victim in the face with a BB gun through the open window of the stationary “2” train before fleeing the station. The victim sustained a laceration to the face and was removed by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital.
