On Thursday, May 28, 2020 at approximately 7:58 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a person stabbed at 861 Tinton Avenue within the confines of the 40th precinct.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a 32-year-old male was stabbed in the abdomen. EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Lincoln where he was pronounced deceased. A person was taken in for questioning and the investigation is ongoing.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending proper family notification.
