West Farms: Man Sought for Armed Assault with Gun on Woman

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating person seen in the attached video who they say is sought in connection with an assault that occurred in the West Farms section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, at around 9.05 a.m., in front of 2136 Honeywell Avenue, a 36-year-old female victim and the unidentified suspect got into a verbal dispute. They said the suspect struck the victim multiple times in the head and face with a firearm, and then fled the location on a motorized scooter, traveling westbound on East 181st Street. They said the victim was treated by EMS at the scene.

 

Police said the suspect is described as male, and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, green camouflage pants, and had a green bag across his chest.
