West Farms: 22-Year-Old Man Dies from Fatal Stab Wounds

A 22-year-old man has died following a stabbing in West Farms, police said.

 

An NYPD spokesperson said that on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at around 2.27 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding an aided man at East 178th Street and Bryant Avenue. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male with multiple stab wounds to the chest, abdomen, back and arm, unconscious and unresponsive,” the spokesperson said.

 

Police said EMS responded and transferred the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries. They said there are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.

 

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
