The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has advised of the following weekend street and bridge closures in the Bronx from Oct. 1 to Oct. 3.
Tilden Street between Barnes Avenue and Bronxwood Avenue: This street will be closed Friday and Saturday from 8am to 6pm and Sunday from 9am to 6pm through 11/10/21 to facilitate crane operation.
East 160th Street between Forest Avenue and Tinton Avenue: This street will be closed from 8am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday through 11/2/21 to facilitate crane operation.
Forest Avenue between East 158th Street and East 160th Street: This street will be closed from 8am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday through 11/2/21 to facilitate crane operation.
East 165th Street between Union Avenue and Prospect Avenue: This street will be fully closed from 8am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday through 10/3/21 for use of manlift for building demolition.
East 179th Street between Grand Concourse and Anthony Avenue: This street will be fully closed Friday from 9am to 6pm through 10/5/21 to facilitate crane operation.
Villa Avenue between Bedford Park Boulevard and East 204th Street: This street will be closed Friday from 9am to 6pm through 12/23/21 to facilitate crane operation.
Bush Street between Grand Concourse and Anthony Avenue: This street will be closed Friday from 9am to 6pm through 10/5/21 to facilitate crane operation.
Anthony Avenue between East 179th Street and Bush Street: This street will be closed Friday from 9am to 6pm through 10/5/21 to facilitate crane operation.
Bergen Avenue between East 152nd Street and Westchester Avenue: This street will be closed Friday from 7am to 3pm through 10/18/21 for new building/crane.
Risse Street between Jerome Avenue and Van Cortlandt Avenue East: This street will be closed from 9am to 3pm Friday and 5am to 9pm Saturday and Sunday through 10/3/21 for mainline track repairs.
