Wakefield: Two Sought for Armed Robbery of 14-Year-Old Teen

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s assistance identifying the people seen in the attached photo who police say are wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred in Wakefield.

 

Police said that on Wednesday, May 22, at approximately 4.20 p.m., a 14-year-old male victim was approached by two unidentified people while onboard a northbound 2 train at the East 225th Street subway station. They said the two both displayed knives and stole the victim’s phone.

 

“The unidentified individuals then fled the location on foot to parts unknown,” police said. “The victim did not sustain any injuries as a result of this incident.”
