We’ve reached out to the Red Cross for details of any residents who were rehoused and will share any updates we receive.

As reported, the Wakefield fire took place on the same evening as several emergency services units were called to address a separate burst water mains pipe that caused major flooding and havoc to both residents and local businesses in the vicinity of Webster Avenue, East 201st Street, Mosholu Parkway South, and Bedford Park Boulevard in Norwood / Bedford Park.
