The NYPD is looking for the public’s help identifying three individuals, seen in the attached video, sought in connection with a shooting that occurred in Wakefield.
On Thursday, Jan. 13, at approximately 2.57 p.m., in the vicinity of East 223rd Street and Carpenter Avenue, a 17-year-old male victim was walking outside when he was approached by the three individuals.
One of the three discharged a firearm in the direction of the victim, hitting him multiple times. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the back, EMS responded and transported him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in critical but stable condition. The three suspects fled, on foot, in different directions to parts unknown.
The individual who shot the victim is described as male, and was last seen wearing a black coat, a blue, hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers.
