The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached surveillance video and photo who are sought for questioning regarding a strongarm robbery that occurred in Wakefield.
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, July 12, at around 6 p.m., in front of a residential building located at 3908 Bronx Boulevard, a 42-year-old male victim was walking in front of the location when two individuals, a male and a female, unknown to him approached from behind.
They pushed the victim against the building, and stole his wallet which contained $1,000 in cash from his back pocket before fleeing to parts unknown. There were no reported injuries arising from the incident.
The first assailant, Individual 1, is described as male, has short black hair, a dark complexion, has a large build, is around 6 feet, 2 inches, tall and was last seen wearing a blue and white, short-sleeve shirt, blue shorts, black socks, a black skull cap, and grey Crocs.
Individual 2 is described as female, has a thin build, weighs around 130 pounds, is around 5 feet tall, has short dark hair, and was last seen wearing a black tube top, grey and brown sweat pants, white socks and blue sandals.
