The NYPD is seeking the public’s help locating a 62-year-old man reported missing from the Wakefield section of The Bronx.
Police said that Vilktor Dematteo of East 222nd Street in Wakefield, The Bronx was last seen on Thursday, Sept. 26, at around 4.30 p.m., leaving his home. They said he is described as male, is around 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs around 130 pounds, and has a salt and pepper afro. They said he was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants.
Anyone with information regarding this missing person is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crimestoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/ or on X @NYPDTips.
