The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video and photos who they said are sought in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in the Wakefield section of The Bronx.
Police said that on Tuesday, May 7, at around 8.44 p.m., a 49-year-old male victim was in front of 4781 White Plains Road, when four unidentified males approached and struck him in the head with an unknown object.
“The individuals then pushed him off his motor bike, punched and kicked him multiple times about the head and body,” a police spokesperson said.
They said the suspects then stole four cellphones, valued at around $3,000. “One individual fled the location on the victim’s motorbike and three individuals fled on foot, traveling northbound on Barnes Avenue,” the spokesperson said.
“The victim sustained minor injuries and went to Montefiore Medical Center by private means in stable condition,” the spokesperson added.
Police said the suspects are described as male, and each has a dark complexion. Photos showing the three suspects are attached.
