The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the people seen in the attached photo who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Wakefield.
Police said that on Saturday, Dec. 23, at around 2.15 p.m., at the East 225th Street subway station at White Plains Road, five people approached a 14-year-old male victim and demanded his coat. “One of the males pressed an unknown object against the victim’s back and threatened to shoot him if he did not give up the coat,” a police spokesperson said.
Police added that the group later stole the coat and fled to parts unknown. “There were no reported injuries,” the spokesperson said.
Police said the first sought individual was described as male, has a dark complexion, and is around 6 feet tall. They said he was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, a red, hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
They said the second person sought was described as male, has a dark complexion, is around 5 feet, 8 inches tall and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black shoes.
Police said the third sought individual is described as male, has a dark complexion, is around 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, light blue jeans, and black shoes.
They said the fourth person sought is described as male, has a dark complexion, is around 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a white sweater, and black shoes.
Police said the fifth sought individual is described as male, has a dark complexion, is around 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans, multicolored shoes, and a black face mask.
