Wakefield: 28-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot

A 28-year-old man has died following a fatal shooting in the Wakefield section of The Bronx.

 

Police said that on Thursday, July 6, at around 5.30 p.m., police received a 911 call regarding a man who was shot in front of 632 East 223rd Street. “EMS responded and transported the aided to NYC Health and Hospitals/ Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased,” a police spokesperson said. “There have been no arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.”

 

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
