A 28-year-old man has died following a fatal shooting in the West Farms section of The Bronx, police said.
An NYPD spokesperson said that on Saturday, Dec. 21, at around 6.15 p.m., officers from the 48th Precinct received a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot in front of 1295 Rodman Place. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 28-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the face and chest,” the spokesperson said. “Police transported the 28-year-old male to St. Barnabas where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.”
Police said there are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing. The deceased was later identified as Richard Spigner, 28, of Rodman Place, The Bronx.
