UPDATE University Heights: 68-Year-Old Man Reported Missing, Found

An NYPD spokesperson said on Jan. 11 that a man who had been reported missing from the University Heights section of The Bronx has been found and is safe.

 

As reported, prior to being located, police had said on Dec. 6 that Luis Berrios, 68, of West 184th Street had last been seen on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at around 11.28 a.m., leaving his home. He was described at the time as male, around 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing 115 pounds, with brown eyes and short salt and pepper hair. An additional photograph of Berrios was later released on Dec. 18, 2022.
