UPDATE NY Lottery Announces $2.04 Billion Jackpot Winning Numbers, Multiple 3rd Prize Winners in New York

New York Lottery representatives said on Tuesday, Nov. 8, the latest Powerball drawing for the world record $2.04 billion jackpot was carried out at 8:57 a.m. EST at the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee.

 

The winning numbers were white balls 10, 33, 41, 47, 56 and red Powerball 10. The Power Play® multiplier was 2X. The jackpot climbed beyond its earlier estimate to $2.04 billion at the time of the drawing, making it the world’s largest lottery prize.

 

Official draw results were pending early on Tuesday. New York Lottery officials later confirmed that multiple third-prize winning Powerball tickets were sold in New York and that the jackpot winning ticket was sold in California for Monday’s drawing.

 

The Power Play third place prize worth $100,000 and 22 third-prize winning tickets each worth $50,000 for the Nov. 7, 2022 Powerball® drawing were purchased in New York. The winning tickets have four matching numbers and the Powerball and were purchased at the following locations:

  • Bono’s Deli in Manhattan
  • Meadow Trading in Fresh Meadows

  • A & S Mini-Mart in Mahopac

  • TU Bohio Grocery in Brooklyn
  • Stop 1 Deli in Ozone Park
  • Route 24 Deli in East Meadow

As above, the winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on Nov. 7 were 10-33-41-47-56 and the Powerball was 10. The multiplier for this drawing was 3, which means that one winner’s prize tripled to $150,000, according to NY Lottery officials.

Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app. The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.

 

New York Lottery officials say the lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in fiscal year 2021-22 to help support education in New York State.
