UPDATE Norwood: Man Shot on East 207th Street

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in this photo who they say is sought in connection with a non-fatal shooting which took place on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, at around 1 a.m. in front of 245 East 207th Street in the Norwood section of The Bronx.

The NYPD has released photos of the two men sought in connection with the nonfatal shooting of a third man in the back along East 207th Street in Norwood on Tuesday.

 

According to police officials, officers from the 52nd Precinct were called to 245 East 207th Street at 1:01 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10, where the officers discovered a 41-year-old male shot once in the lower back. The victim was transported to Jacobi Hospital by EMS in “stable” condition.

 

Police were canvassing for video of the incident on Tuesday. The suspects were described as both wearing dark clothing and black ski masks, who fled eastbound towards Perry Avenue after the incident. One shell casing was recovered at the scene.
