A man was discovered deceased outside the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) in Norwood on the day after Thanksgiving.
A police spokesperson said that on Friday, Nov. 29, at around 7.38 a.m. officers from the 52nd Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding an aided person in front of 3415 Bainbridge Avenue.
“Upon arrival, officers discovered a 62-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, lying on the road on the sidewalk,” the spokesperson said. “EMS responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene, there are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.”
We asked if the man appeared injured or was just unconscious, and spokesperson said, “The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.”
We asked if the death was being treated as suspicious and police said it was too early to tell while they await the medical examiner’s report. An overdose is not being rule out.

I’m sorry that that was a realization for someone and that someone’s family is dealing with this unfortunate circumstance especially during the holidays. 😔🙏🕊️ May all parties find peace and comfort during this difficult time.”
