The NYPD said they have arrested a man in connection with the non-fatal shooting that occurred in Norwood in July.
As reported, police said that on Thursday, July 27, at around 11.07 p.m., in front of 3349 Hull Avenue, the victim, a 30-year-old man, was sitting inside of a vehicle when another person fired several rounds and the victim was struck once in the shoulder and once in the back. He was removed to NYC Health and Hospitals/ North Central Bronx by private means in stable condition.
Police said the shooter was last seen fleeing in a silver SUV traveling westbound on East 204th Street. He was described as male, has a medium complexion, is around 6 feet tall, and has a slim build. They said he was last seen wearing a white tank top, red striped shorts, and multicolored sneakers.
On Wednesday, Aug. 9, cops said that pursuant to an ongoing investigation, Ramsey Minaya, 21, of Norwood was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 5, at around 9 a.m. He was charged with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal possession of a weapon
