UPDATE Morris Heights: 77-Year-Old Bronx Resident Reported Missing Now Found

The New York City Police Department said Isabel Ruiz, 77, from University Avenue in The Bronx, who had been reported missing on Nov. 30, 2023, has since been located and is safe.

The NYPD said a 77-year-old person reported missing from Morris Heights has been located and is safe.

 

Prior to being located, police said Isabel Ruiz, 77, of University Avenue in The Bronx had last been seen on Thursday, Nov. 30, at approximately 1.50 a.m., leaving his home. Ruiz was described as male, Hispanic, has a medium complexion, a birthmark on the left side of his face, and prior to being located, had last been seen wearing a dark blue jacket, and a blue baseball cap with a red brim, and with the letters “PR” on it.
