Police said Sunday that a woman who was shot on Saturday night at Bronx Housing Authority in Marble Hill is now in stable condition.
A police spokesperson told Norwood News on Saturday, Oct. 28, that the shooting was reported at around 9.22 p.m. the same evening and no further information was available at the time. Screenshots of video footage from the Citizens’ App showed police cordoning off a section of the courtyard outside the location.
A police spokesperson told Norwood News on Sunday, Oct. 29, that the victim was a 30-year-old female who had been shot in the back and had been brought to New York Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition. He added, “She’s now in stable condition.”
Asked if the perpetrator(s) was / were known, the spokesperson said they were not, and that the investigation was ongoing. We asked if the victim was a resident of Bronx Housing Authority and the spokesperson replied, saying her address was not the same as the address of the shooting incident.
