THE NYPD ARE asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in this video who they say are sought for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor, close to Devoe Park, on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023.

Police said on Monday, Dec. 18, that a 13-year-old boy has been arrested following an assault and robbery of a 76-year-old man that occurred in Fordham Manor, close to Devoe Park.
As reported, police were asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video and photo who they said were sought for questioning in connection to the incident.
They said that on Sunday, Dec. 17, at around 2.07 a.m., the victim, a 76-year-old man, was walking in the vicinity of Webb Avenue and Sedgwick Avenue when he was approached by three male individuals on mopeds. “One of the individuals punched the victim in the head, causing him to fall to the ground,” a police spokesperson said.
“While the victim was on the ground, the individuals forcibly went through the victim’s pockets and removed a cellphone,” the spokesperson added.
Police said one of the group then threw the phone onto the sidewalk, damaging the screen and then they fled on mopeds westbound on West Fordham Road. “The victim was treated on scene by EMS for a laceration and pain to the head,” the spokesperson said.
Police said the unnamed 13-year-old boy who was arrested was charged with robbery on Monday at around 6.40 p.m.
