UPDATE Death of Woman inside Fordham Heights Apartment Classified as Homicide

Police have classified the death of a 29-year-old woman in a Fordham Heights apartment on Nov. 13 as a homicide.

 

As reported, on Saturday, Nov. 13, at approximately 5.49 p.m., police responded to a call for a wellness check inside an apartment at 2390 Creston Avenue, in Fordham Heights, located in the 46th precinct.

 

Upon arrival, officers observed a woman and a man, unconscious and unresponsive inside the location. EMS responded and pronounced both victims deceased at the scene.

 

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.  The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The deceased are both unidentified at this time.

 

On Tuesday, Nov. 16, police confirmed that the incident was deemed a homicide as it pertains to the female victim and the investigation remains ongoing.

 

The deceased woman has since been identified as Ashley Ducille, 29, of 2390 Creston Avenue, Bronx, NY
