UPDATE 66-Year-Old Mt. Hope Man Reported Missing Has Returned Home

The NYPD said on Wednesday, Oct. 18, that a 66-year-old man who was reported missing earlier on Wednesday from the Mt. Hope section of The Bronx has returned home.

 

Prior to returning home, police said Nathaniel Matthews of Valentine Avenue had last been seen on Sunday, Oct. 15, at around 5 a.m., leaving his home. They said he was described as male, Black, around 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighed around 140 pounds, had balding, short hair, and short facial hair. They said his last known clothing description prior to returning home had been unknown.

 

On Wednesday night, at around 10.18 p.m., police confirmed that Matthews had returned home. No further details were provided.
