University Heights: Woman’s Wallet Stolen at Burnside Avenue Subway Station

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying two individuals seen in the attached video and photos who are wanted for questioning in connection to an incident where a woman’s wallet was stolen in University Heights, in the 46th precinct / Transit District 11.

 

It was reported to the police that on Sunday, May 16, at around 3.50 p.m., on a southbound #4 subway, while entering the Burnside Avenue subway station, the suspects stole a wallet from a 36-year-old female victim.

The suspects fled the station and subsequently made three transactions using the victim’s credit cards at various stores in the vicinity of the incident location. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

 

Surveillance video and photos which show the suspects in the vicinity of the incident location are attached.
