University Heights: Two Suspects Wanted in Connection to Non-Fatal Shooting Incident

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of two unidentified men, seen in the attached photo and video, who are sought in connection with an assault (non-fatal shooting) which took place in the 52nd precinct.

 

On Monday, Oct. 19, 2020, at 7.05 a.m., two unidentified men entered Mixtec, a restaurant located at 2345 Jerome Avenue in the University Heights section of the Bronx. One of the men, referred to by police as “unidentified male #1,” produced a handgun and discharged it, striking a victim, a 30-year-old man, once in his left arm, and once in his left leg.

 

Both suspects later fled the scene.

 

The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.

 

Both the photo and video are available for review at NYPD. In the attached photo, unidentified male #1 is on the left and unidentified male #2 is on the right.
