University Heights: Two Sought for Assault on 78-Year-Old Man

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the people seen in the attached media who they say are wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in University Heights.

 

Police said that on Sunday, June 9, at around 12.25 p.m. inside 36 West Fordham Road, a 78-year-old male victim got into a dispute with two people.

“One of the individuals punched the victim in the face causing him to fall to the ground,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition with injuries to his jaw and teeth. The unknown individuals were last seen fleeing the location to parts unknown in a black Jeep SUV.”
