The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man seen in the attached video and photograph in connection to a robbery and assault that occurred in the 52nd precinct.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at approximately 5 p.m., in front of 25 West 184th Street in the University Heights section of the Bronx, the man approached a 39-year-old male victim, struck him in the face with a handgun, and removed his cell phone and wallet. Among the items inside the victim’s wallet were credit and debit cards as well as $1,500 in cash. The individual fled the scene in a white Sport Utility Vehicle.
The individual is described as a male, 22 to 25 years of age, Hispanic, approximately 6 feet in height and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, gray sweatpants and white sneakers.
