The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection with a robbery that occurred on the border of Fordham Manor and University Heights.
Police said that on Saturday, May 4, at around 1 p.m., in an apartment building located in the vicinity of West Fordham Road and Andrews Avenue, a 47-year-old male victim met with an unidentified person who he met on a dating app. They said the unidentified person entered the victim’s apartment and then attempted to punch him, forcibly removing his watch and clothing before fleeing the location on foot in an unknown direction. Police said no physical injuries were reported following the robbery.
