One person has been hospitalized after reportedly being hit by a scooter in University Heights.
EMS officials said the incident occurred on Wednesday, Aug. 30, when emergency services received a call at 2.51 p.m. regarding a pedestrian who had been struck at 2332 University Avenue.
They said the person was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital and their description and condition was unknown.
A user of the Citizens’ App posted a video of one person on a stretcher being placed in a waiting ambulance and said a bystander had said a U-turn had taken place earlier at the location.
