The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in the attached video who is sought in connection to an assault that occurred in University Heights.
It was reported to police that on Sunday, May 22, at approximately 10.25 p.m., in front of 1995 Sedgwick Avenue, an unidentified individual allegedly stabbed a 59-year-old man in the head and torso with an unknown object, in an unprovoked attack. EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital where he remains in serious condition.
