University Heights: Man Sought for Armed Robbery

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s help  identifying the person seen in this photo who they say is wanted in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in the vicinity of University Avenue and West 190th Street in the University Heights section of The Bronx.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in University Heights.

 

Police said that on Friday, Dec. 15, at around 7.30 p.m., a 47-year-old male victim entered an apartment building in the vicinity of University Avenue and West 190th Street and was approached from behind by a man who displayed a gun and demanded the victim’s property.

 

“The unidentified male removed $1,000 in cash and a cell phone from the victim’s person and fled to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said. Police said the suspect is described as weighing around 150 pounds, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and has a dark complexion.
