University Heights: Male Sought for Robbery & Assault of 69-Year-Old Woman

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photo who they said is sought in connection with a robbery and assault of an older adult in the University Heights section of The Bronx. 

 

Police said that on Monday, Nov. 18, at around 4.48 p.m. in front of 21 West 183rd Street, an unidentified individual approached a 69-year-old female victim. “The individual pushed the victim to the ground, causing injuries to her lips and face, and removed a purse from her,” a police spokesperson said. “The individual then fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on Davidson Avenue. The victim did sustain injuries, but she was not hospitalized.”

Police said the suspect is described as male, has a medium build and a light complexion, and was last seen wearing all black.
