University Heights: Group Sought for Nonfatal Shooting of Three Young Men

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the people seen in the attached video who they say are wanted in connection with a nonfatal shooting that occurred in University Heights.

 

Police said that on Thursday, Sept. 26, at around 4 a.m., in front of 1981 Cedar Avenue, three unidentified people fired a gun multiple times, striking a 19-year-old male victim in the left hand, a 20-year-old male victim in the left hand, and a 21-year-old male victim in the left hand and left arm.

 

The individuals fled in a gray 2022 Acura TLX bearing a Connecticut plate BJ-21369. They traveled northbound on Cedar Avenue. The victims were transported by private means to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.

Police said all three suspects are described as male.
