Building applications have been filed with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) for the interior conversion of a 3-story, residential building at 2564 Davidson Avenue in the University Heights section of The Bronx, as reported by YIMBY. Located between West 190th Street and West 192nd Street, the lot is near the Kingsbridge Road subway station, serviced by the 4 train.

Chaim Schwartz of Prime Property Management is listed as the owner behind the applications, according to YIMBY. The proposed 33-foot-tall development will yield 5,422 square feet designated for residential space, and the building will yield 12 residential units, most likely condominiums based on the average unit scope of 1,004 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a basement and a 33-foot-long rear yard.

Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record. Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for interior conversions only. An estimated completion date for the conversion has not been announced.

Welcome to the Norwood News, a bi-weekly community newspaper that primarily serves the northwest Bronx communities of Norwood, Bedford Park, Fordham and University Heights. Founded in 1988 by Mosholu Preservation Corporation, a not-for-profit affiliate of Montefiore Medical Center, the Norwood News began as a monthly and grew to a bi-weekly in 1994. In September 2003 the paper expanded to cover University Heights and now covers all the neighborhoods of Community District 7. The Norwood News exists to foster communication among citizens and organizations and to be a tool for neighborhood development efforts. The Norwood News runs the Bronx Youth Journalism Heard, a journalism training program for Bronx high school students.
