Two Teens Sought After 17-Year-Old Male is Shot in Abdomen

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individuals seen in the attached surveillance video regarding a non-fatal shooting/assault that occurred in the 47th precinct.

 

It was reported to police that on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at approximately 7 p.m., inside a residential building located at 3230 Cruger Avenue, between Gun Hill Houses and the Parkside Housing Project, a 17-year-old male victim was sitting down in the rear of the building with a group. One member of the group then discharged one round and struck the victim in the abdomen and right thigh. The suspect then fled on foot to parts unknown with an unidentified female, acting in concert.

 

The victim was removed to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition and was treated and released.

 

The male suspect is described as male, approximately 16 to 18 years-of-age, has a thin build, is dark-skinned, and was last seen wearing a black jacket over a black hooded sweater, black pants, gray sneakers and blue surgical face mask.

 

The female suspect is described as female, approximately 16 to 18 years-of-age, has a thin build, is dark-skinned  and was last seen wearing a red jacket, light-blue ripped jeans, red, white and black sneakers, red long braids and seen carrying a silver small purse.

 

Surveillance video is attached, and was obtained from 3210 White Plains Road, after the incident.
