Two Sought in Citywide Robbery Pattern

THE NYPD IS asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a citywide robbery pattern identified across different boroughs within the 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 28th, 30th, 33rd, 34th, and in The Bronx, the 40th, 42nd, 43rd, 44th, 46th, 48th, and 52nd Precincts. On Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, at 11.30 a.m., in front of 1366 White Plains Road in Parkchester, an unidentified person (pictured) approached a 60-year-old female victim and snatched her necklace.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is one of two wanted in connection with a citywide robbery pattern identified across different boroughs within the 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 28th, 30th, 33rd, 34th, and in The Bronx, the 40th, 42nd, 43rd, 44th, 46th, 48th, and 52nd Precincts.

 

Police sad that between Wednesday, June 19, and Wednesday, Oct. 16, there have been a total of 55 incidents involving one to two male individuals who snatched necklaces and other property from the victims. They said the two then fled on a black moped (pictured) to parts unknown.

 

For example, on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, at 11.30 a.m., in front of 1366 White Plains Road in Parkchester, an unidentified person (pictured) approached a 60-year-old female victim and snatched her necklace.

They said the person fled on a black moped to parts unknown, and there were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
