Tremont: Police Appeal to Public for Help Locating 81-Year-Old Man Reported Missing

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Gurley Salandy, 81, of 2081 Washington Avenue in the Tremont section of The Bronx, just south of Belmont, who was reported missing on Wednesday, July 3, 2024

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance locating an 81-year-old man reported missing on Wednesday, July 3, from the Tremont section of The Bronx.

Police that Gurley Salandy of 2081 Washington Avenue, Bronx, NY was last seen on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at around 7.30 a.m. at 2081 Washington Avenue, The Bronx. They said he is described as male, Black, is around 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, has a dark complexion, a medium build, and long black hair in locks. He was last seen wearing a multicolored T-shirt, and gray shorts.
