Tremont: Man Sought for Stabbing Second Man in Neck and Back

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached media who they say is sought in connection with an assault that occurred in Tremont.

 

Police said that on Sunday, July 28, at around 2.31 a.m., in front of 398 East Tremont Avenue, a 35-year-old male victim and an unidentified man got into an argument. They said the suspect then stabbed the victim in the neck and back with an unknown sharp object, before fleeing the location on a black moped, traveling northbound on Webster Avenue. They said the victim was transported to BronxCare Health System in stable condition.

Police said the person sought is described as male, has a medium build, a dark complexion, and short locks. They said he is around 25-30 years old and is between 5 feet, 9 inches and 6 feet tall. They said he was last seen wearing a black helmet, a green, hooded sweatshirt and black shorts.
