Tremont: Gunman Sought in Shooting of 30-Year-Old Second Man

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection with point blank range shooting that occurred in Tremont.

 

Police said that on Saturday, Aug. 5, at around 7.45 a.m., a 30-year-old male victim was inside a business located at 563 East Tremont Avenue when he was approached by another person who pointed a gun at him. They said the assailant then proceeded to fire the gun, striking the victim once in the left leg. They said he then left the location and fled on foot in an unknown direction. They said EMS responded and transported the aided victim to St. Barnabas in stable condition.
