Building applications have been filed with New York City Department of Buildings for a new seven-story, residential building at 1962 Anthony Avenue in the Tremont section of The Bronx, as reported YIMBY.

Located between East 178th Street and Anthony Avenue, the lot is near the Tremont Avenue subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Joel Waldman under the 1962A LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 16,677 square feet designated for residential space, and the building will have 27 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 617 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and eight open parking spaces.

Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in March for the three-story, residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
